Our room expansion and building work.

Additional Space The group has recently gained access to the remainder of the top floor and work is in hand decorating and preparing a second open area for G gauge and other use, also one of the former offices is being fitted-out with worktops and being developed into a modelling room.

Work has progressed very well so far with our thanks going to one of our members (Nick Kerslake) for his building work and without whom we would never have been confident enough to embark on the premises alterations).

The hope is to have the area all plastered by the end of october and then move on to the painting and then flooring; this will then allow proper assessment of what layout(s) could utlise the space best.

08/11/2013 - As you can see from the new pictures, there has been much progress with the new space; all the painting has been done, new flooring going down and we are now preparing for new carpet to go down.

Once the carpet is down, then layouts will start moving and using the new area.
