HUGE STOCK SALE !!

The large 00 collection – formerly that of a lifelong collector - has resurfaced for sale and the stock will now be offered on Friday 17 October to the Club's members, various outside contacts as well as other clubs expressing interest in 4mm stock.

Alison John will be providing light refreshments and there will be no charge for either the food or the drinks on offer. This is an excellent opportunity to add some interesting stock to your collection from a one-off sale. Items include stock made by Wren, Hornby, Bachman, Mainline and others. This is something not to be missed. Please note that the stock has been priced to sell – with would-be purchasers in mind. You are strongly recommended to come along and see for yourself.

SRMG LATE SUMMER OUTING

I have now booked a 49-seat coach with Cymru coaches and will begin collecting £10 deposits from each traveller a.s.a.p . Please bring in your deposits.

There is plenty of space left for late bookers, at least 12 seats remain available, so get your names down !

To give you a flavour of what can be expected on the day, the SVR will be running its intense timetable: there should be full main-line passenger trains, auto-trains shuttling between some of the smaller stations, the goods will no doubt be out and about too.

Something there for everybody I think. We hope to arrive at Kidderminster at around 9.30am, leaving Swansea at 6.00 am with a possible pick-up at Neath, as before, en route. Exact times will be advised in the future.
